Acupuncture

What is acupuncture, and how does it work?

Acupuncture is a gentle, time-tested healing method that stimulates specific points on the body to restore balance, relieve pain, and promote wellness. It works by enhancing circulation, calming the nervous system, and supporting the body’s natural healing ability.

Does acupuncture hurt?

Most people find acupuncture very relaxing. The needles are extremely thin much finer

than those used for injections and discomfort is minimal, if felt at all.

What can I expect during my first acupuncture session?

Your first session includes full consultation and customized treatment. You’ll lie

comfortably in a relaxing environment while the needles are gently inserted and retained

for about 20–30 minutes.

How many acupuncture sessions will I need?

It depends on your condition and overall health goals. Some people feel better after just one session, while others benefit from a series of treatments. We’ll discuss a recommended treatment plan with you during your visit.

Is acupuncture safe?

Yes. When performed by a licensed professional, acupuncture is extremely safe. We use only sterile, single-use disposable needles.

Chiropractic Care

What does a chiropractor do?

Chiropractors specialize in detecting and correcting misalignments in the spine and joints. Gentle adjustments help restore alignment, improve mobility, relieve pain, and support overall nervous system function.

What conditions can chiropractic care help with?

Chiropractic care is effective for back and neck pain, headaches, sciatica, joint stiffness, posture issues, and more. It can also help prevent future injuries.

Will the adjustment be painful or uncomfortable?

Most adjustments are painless, and many people experience immediate relief. We use gentle, targeted techniques tailored to your comfort level.

Is chiropractic care safe for children or seniors?

Yes! Chiropractic care is safe and beneficial for all ages. We use age-appropriate techniques and always prioritize your comfort and safety.

How often do I need to come in for adjustments?

Frequency depends on your specific needs and goals. Some patients come in for acute care, while others schedule regular wellness visits. We’ll create a plan that works for you.

Massage Therapy & Bodywork

What types of massage therapy do you offer?

We offer deep tissue massage, therapeutic massage, craniosacral therapy, reiki, and more. Each session is customized to address your unique tension patterns and wellness goals.

How is therapeutic massage different from a spa massage?

Therapeutic massage is focused on relieving pain, releasing tension, and restoring function not just relaxation. It’s often used alongside acupuncture and chiropractic for deeper healing.

Can massage therapy help with chronic pain or injury?

Yes, massage can be very effective for managing chronic conditions like back pain, sciatica, frozen shoulder, and stress-related tension. Regular sessions can support long-term recovery.

Do I need to undress for a massage?

You may undress to your comfort level. You’ll be properly draped at all times, and your

therapist will only uncover the area being worked on.

Can I request a specific pressure level or technique?

Of course! We encourage open communication. Let us know your preferences, and your therapist will adjust the treatment accordingly.
